Make room for outside.

A walk after school. An afternoon by the sea. A weekend with muddy shoes waiting at the door.

With three young children, we know getting everyone outside takes a little effort. There’s always something to finish, something to pack or a screen asking for another few minutes.

But being outdoors is something we love as a family. We want to make more room for it and encourage others to come along.

That’s why we’re building MADESC.

We want good gear for our own days outside. Comfortable, practical things that we’re happy to spend our money on and take with us again.

Those expectations shape the range we’re putting together: the materials we choose, the details we look for and the decisions we make.

We’ll share that process as we grow, so you can get to know the people and thinking behind MADESC.

A reason to head out.

It’s easy for another day to fill up indoors. We want MADESC to offer a little encouragement to open the door and see where the day takes you.

Some days, that might mean exploring somewhere new. Others, it might be a familiar path and an hour together.

There’s room for both.
